Jack is gone when Chuck looks over his shoulder again.
Points of Interest
- Chuck says Sarah is 28 in 2008, which makes her born in 1980. That is two years earlier than her CIA dossier birthday (Bearded Bandit). She was recruited by Graham in 1998, her senior year in high school.
- Guido Merkens, an alias for Jack Burton, is the name of an NFL player in the 1980”s.
- Sarah and Chuck don’t have a lot in common but dysfunctional parent relationships is something they share. Chuck uses his parental past to reassure Sarah that her relationship with her father is his issue and she has a right to expect him to be there for her. She knows Jack isn’t reliable but Chuck wanting him to be there for her is consistent through the show.
- DeMorgan can’t be a real license plate, they only have seven spots.
- Lichtenstein is the 6th smallest country in the world and does speak German as its native language.
- Sensei and this episode represent the introduction of the Dads of the show. We meet Devon’s dad in the last episode, Chuck begins looking for his dad as well and we meet Sarah’s dad in this episode.
