310 - Chuck Vs. the Tic Tac
Alex Colburn Learns His Fate
The scene opens with Lt. Alex Colburn (pre-John Casey) being told he is not qualified for training in Special Ops Command. He is then approached by Col. James Keller, who invites him to join his team. Alex Colburn will die and John Casey is born. The location for this encampment is the lagoon area of the Warner Brothers back lot. It is located in the cabin area we see in so many scenes. While there are a number of tents, to the left of the screenshot, you can almost make out the barn.
Subterranean CIA Facility
The team is given a mission to test the security of a Subterranean CIA Facility. This facility is once again CAA Building in Century City. It was used episode 304 – Operation Awesome.
Chuck and Sarah Leave the CIA Facility
After Casey leaves with Keller, Chuck and Sarah exit the CIA Facility and our promptly captured and taken to Castle. They do not leave the same building as the CIA Facility seen before. They actually exit the Bridge Building at WB, which also doubles as Westside Medical Center. You can see in the upper left the bridge that goes between two buildings.
Chuck Goes to Kathleen's House
While Casey and Sarah hunt down Col Keller, Chuck goes to Kathleen’s house to rescue her from Keller’s men.
The house is located on the WB lot and functions as a “practical set,” meaning the inside of the building has rooms and is mostly finished.
Casey Goes to Keller's Cabin
Casey goes to Keller’s cbin with Sarah while Chuck goes to rescue Kathleen. The cabin is a familiar one in the jungle area of the WB lot.
Chuck Inside Kathleen's House
Chuck is inside Kathleen’s house when the Ring agents confront him. After taking the Laudanol, he fights and almost chokes the one agent to death, only to be stopped by Sarah. All of this activity takes place on a practical set at WB.
311 - Chuck Vs. Final Exam
Chuck Hangs Out the Hotel Window
Chuck is assigned to indentify a rougue CIA agent. He is ordered to go to a hotel wheere the agent is going to meet a Russian agent. He ends up hanging off the side of the hotel as he ID’s the agent. The hotel is the Marriott Hotel at Warner Center, located at 21850 Oxnard St in Woodland Hills, Ca.
Casey Meeting Big Mike, Lester and Jeff at the Subway
Big Mike calls a negotiation with Casey Lester and Jeff to get Lester and Jeff to call off their lawsuit against Casey for bonking their heads together. The meeting takes place at at Subway located at 4455 Slauson Ave in Maywood, Ca. Note the Western Dental office across from the Subway.
Chuck Meeting Sarah at Union Station for His Mission
Chuck goes to LA Union Station in downtown LA to meet Sarah and get his mission,,,, unbeknowst to him. He meets her at the restaurant in Union Station and then chases the agent through the station to the train yard.
Chuck then tries to arrest Perry and escort him out of the train station. Perry runs and goes up the ramp to the train platforms.
312 - Chuck Vs. The American Hero
Department of National Intelligence Building
As the episode opens, Chuck travels to Washington D.C. to meet with General Beckman and receive his new assignment. The DNI headquarters is shown. It is actually the Department of Education at 400 Maryland Ave SW. The actual adress for the DNI HQ is not publically available.
The Villa in Rome
When Chuck meets with Beckman, she tells him he will be stationed in Rome at a villa. The picture she shows him is of a building that is not in Rome but in St. Augustine, Florida. It is Flagler College. The building is actually the Ponce De Leon Hotel, built in between 1885–1887 by Standard Oil co-founder Henry M. Flagler.
Devon and Casey Kidnap Chuck
In order to help Chuck win back Sarah, Morgan, Devon and Casey borrow Lester’s “Spy mobile” to bring Chuck to Shaw and Sarah’s dinner. They kipnap Chuck as he walking away from the Buy More. However, the actual location is 585 Santa Fe St in downtown LA. The Buy More is CGI’d into the scene.
Sarah And Shaw Walk to Dinner
Sarah and Shaw go to dinner as Devon, Casey and Morgan kidnap Chuck in an attempt to win back Sarah. The location of the dinner is 8631 Washington Bl in Culver city, CA. It was a resturant named Wilson, owned by Chef Michael Wilson, son of Beach Boys Dennis Wilson. It is closed.
Morgan Lures Shaw Out of Restaurant
When Morgan lures Shaw out of the restaurant, they are actual back in the same gentral location as the scene where Devon and Casey Kidnap Chuck. Morgan starts at the same building, located at 585 Santa Fe St. approxiamately 10 miles from the restuarant site. Then Morgan walks down a sidewalk that appears to be a neighborhood, which is nowhere near the industrial site. They are now around the corner from the restaurant in S. Sherbourne Ave.
Shaw kidnaps Sarah and Takes Her to the Desert
As Sarah is preparing to meet Chuck at the train station, Shaw grabs her and tells her he knows where the director is. The next scene they are driving in a desert area. The area is outside of Palmdale, Ca off of Highway 138. It appears the scene is shot at the intersection of CA-138 and 165th St East. The area is distinctive because of the abundance of Joshua Trees.
313 - Chuck Vs. The Other Guy
Chuck, Sarah and Shaw Go to Ring Headquarters
After the incident at the warehouse, Shaw convinces Beckman they can all still work together and Sarah agrees. Shaw has them go on a mission to capture the Ring Director and retrieve the Cyper. The building shown is the headquarters of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) located at 111S. Hope st in Downtown LA.
Casey and Chuck Head to Paris
When Chuck determines that Sarah is in Danger in Paris with Shaw, he convinces Casey to board a plane to Paris. Ignore the time it actually takes to flight from LA to Paris. Chances are the plane they are on a a mockup of a 747 enconomy section which belogs to a company called Air Hollywood, know in the film and TV industry has supplying the majority of plane scenes in movies and TV. Their ware house is located at 25612 Avenue Sranford in
Valencia, CA.
Shaw and Sarah Walking in Paris
Shaw and Sarah travel to Paris under the guise of recovering the Cypher. Shaw has something entirely different in mind. The scene before show them walking along the River Seine, however, they are on the Little Europe set area of Universal Studios.
Shaw Takes Sarah to the Cafe
After Shawwalks with Sarah to the spot where Sarah shot Eve, Sarah is drugged by a Ring Agent and Shaw then drags her over to a cafe to tell her he is going to kill her. The cafe is located on the Court of Miracles Set at Universal Studios. It is named after the first movie filmed there in 1919 entitled “The Miracle Man” staring Lon Chaney
Shaw Tries to Throw Sarah Off the Bridge
After Chuck confronts Shaw, they fight and Chuck is knocked to the ground, Shaw drags Sarah off to presumably throw her off a nearby bridge. The bridge shown is the Pont Neuf Bridge over the River Seine in Paris. The bridge scene is probably located at Universal and is not a bridge at all, but a short, straight cement block wall, location yet unknown. What is clear is the scene is heavily CGI’d with scenes of Paris behind each shot.
